I read a story about a small business owner whose business was on the brink.

He pulled out his phone to call his wife and tell her about how well the meeting went… of course Margaret was thrilled and they planned a celebration dinner for that evening.

Next Bob called his business partner to tell him how well things went… Bob got a few sentences out about the meeting and the decision coming on Friday — then Peter, his partner, said “What if they go to our website?

That is when it hit Bob…

that sickening feeling in the pit of his stomach.

He knew his company’s website was going to blow the deal. They had spent thousands of dollars preparing this presentation, even more in airfare, hotel, printed materials, parking, cabs, the lunch tab he had picked up at Morton’s… now it was all wasted.
